Muddy says: New homewares, vintage and quirky retro goodies – this Corsham store is right up our Muddy street!

If your favourite Sunday afternoon pastime is, like me, taking your time pootling around a gorgeous emporium of vintage goodies and funky retro relics, you’re in for a treat, my friends. Previous Homewares has moved with a bang (and, we hear, twitters of glee from the merry townsfolk of Corsham) into huge new premises on the High Street, offering their fabulous homewares, jewellery, cards, children’s toys, furniture and stunning interior fabrics – basically the fine art (and one that is waaaaaay beyond me) of putting contemporary items together with pieces from different eras, in a stylish way that works for new and old houses alike. Perfecto.

Pick up that perfect piece of art, man-gifts galore, even stationery – and while you’re here take a snoop around Corsham, one of our fave towns in Wilts (and not just for a gander at Poldark during one of their many location shoots. Oh no, not me. ‘Course not.)

The new premises also offers labels including Loqi bags, Caran D’Ache pens, Chalk UK womenswear, Ania Haie jewellery and Rice homewares. I’m loving their 100 % cashmere sweaters in three different styles and loads of gorgeous colours, for a mere £60. So, hats off to owner Nicola White – come and join the lovely locals of Corsham (or even her visitors from further afield including – steel yourself for some serious name dropping – Lily Allen, Emilia Fox, Jamie Dornan, Cath Kidston, Kirstie Allsop and Poldark himself!) in a good session of spending some cash.

Oh and being so #intheknow, we hear they are planning to open up a cafe soon. Watch this space and we’ll bring you the latest as soon as we know it!
