Wild Thoughts Wreath Workshops, 1, 11, 16 December, various locations and times
Cricklade-based florist Wild Thoughts is hosting several wreath making sessions throughout December. On the 1st at The Angel in Royal Wootton Bassett at 6 pm to 8:30 pm, on the 11th at The Town Pantry in Royal Wootton Bassett at 2 pm to 4 pm and 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm and on the 16th at The Cricklade Club in Cricklade from 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Christmas Wreath Workshops with the Dungaree Gardener, 2-22 December various times, Oaksey
Emma, the host of this class, gave up her career in HR earlier this year to garden full time and is hosting a series of wreath making classes for the first time.
The events will be relaxed, fun and festive and will guide you through making a mixed foliage Christmas wreath. The workshop includes all materials needed to make your wreath plus a glass of mulled wine and mince pies – because what festive event is complete without them?

Christmas Wreath Making Workshop and Lunch, The Moonraker Hotel, Trowle, December 2, 10 am – 12:30 pm
This wreath workshop invites you to bring greenery from your own garden to add a personal touch to your home made wreath (though materials are provided if you’re not green fingered!).

Nimble and Wild Festive Wild Wreath Making Workshop, 3 December 7 – 9 pm, Malmesbury
Malmesbury’s Pilates studio Nimble and Wild transforms into a winter wonderland for this one-off event. You’re invited to create a wreath with a difference. With help from floral artist Sharon Jackson of @grownandforagedgatherings you’ll weave together vines, eucalyptus, pine, spruce and more. Sprinkle it with dried seeds, pods and pips for the finishing touch.
Snacks are provided from local cake wizard The Cake Tin, with Prosecco or non-alcoholic gin and mince pies too. £65 per person, book here.
Christmas Wreath Making Workshop at Wooley Grange Hotel, Bradford-on-Avon, 3 and 4 December
Join Wooley Grange’s head gardener and florist Aldetha in the hotel’s cosy hideout to make a Christmas wreath fit for a winter wonderland.
Aldetha will give step-by-step guidance to help you make a wreath that fits your festive vision, be it wild and untamed or perfect manicured.
During the session you’ll receive hot drinks and mince pies and post-workshop a two-course festive lunch is included.

Christmas Wreath Making at Whatley Manor, 7, 8 and 9 December from 10 am
We can’t think of a lovelier setting for wreath making than the ever-so grand Whatley Manor. The session is led by local florist Emily Hepworth of Malmesbury florist Persephone Violet and starts with tea and coffee on arrival, followed by a wreath making demonstration and workshop and a two course lunch with a glass of wine, coffee and treats. You’ll used mixed foliage, seasonal natural decorations and luxury ribbons to create a striking festive wreath. £95 per person, book here.

All your festive favourites are involved in this wreath making class; on a willow base, you’ll create your wreath using a combination of dried oranges, star anise, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, fir cones, juniper, holly, ivy and more. Join Laura from Trowbridge florist Pinkney Farm Flowers to create a classic festive wreath in a beautiful nature reserve setting.

Christmas wreath workshop with two-course lunch, Iford Manor Estate, 26 November, 10:30 am and 12:30 pm
The glorious Iford Manor Estate is hosting two wreath workshops in late November, both with a delicious two-course lunch in the beautiful grounds included. The session is hosted by trainer florist Sarah Brooker, who also happens to work as the housekeeper on the estate. Tea, coffee and morning pastries are included, as well as a two-course lunch. Wreath Making the Traditional Way, Brimslade Farm, Marlborough, 27 November 1:30 – 4 pm
Taking place just outside Marlborough next the the beautiful canal, soak up the lovely views while creating a wreath using wild materials responsibly foraged from sustainably managed woods and hedgerows. You start by forming the shape of your wreath using coppiced hazel rods, ready to start attaching a selection of evergreen foliage.
