Muddy says: Whether you’re trying to nail a look, have hit a style rut or just want to have some fashion fun, this Tetbury boutique-cum-cauldron of creative ideas is gold dust.
Chosen by Vogue as one of Britain’s best boutiques (do I need to go on? not really, but I will!), this clothing and lifestyle shop on Tetbury’s Long Street (the market town’s answer to Belgravia) is something of a style destination for anyone who likes a bit of je ne sais quoi in their wardrobe.
Owned, curated and styled by Anna, an artist and textile designer, and her mother Jane, their clothes come with bags of individuality and a strong flavour of foreign parts, particularly Argentina, Italy and Greece, where they’ve rested their hats at one time or another.
Drop in and you’ll be served by fashion sage Amy, who has looked after the shop since it opened in 2004, and has an uncanny knack for knowing at a glance what suits every customer. Basically, Trinny and Susannah rolled into one. And if you want a taster before you go, check out the lookbook on line – it is divinely different. Love, love, love.
