Lisa Hayball has been bringing bridal glamour to Warminster’s Silver Street for nearly nine years. Winner of Best Bridal Boutique in the Muddy Awards this year, she’s also been voted one of the top three Best Bridal Boutiques in the South West for the 3rd year running in the Wedding Industry Awards. Customers come from far and wide: it’s just 30mins from Bath or Salisbury, and there’s a direct train from London Waterloo.

At the beginning of the year they introduced Stephanie Allin Couture to the store – one of the UK’s leading bridal brands. They’re exquisite dresses – so stylish and classic and about as far from merengue as you can imagine – made by hand in Mumbles, South Wales by Stephanie herself and her small team.

Lisa also works with European brand Agnes Fashion Group, who have been with her since the beginning. A family business whose dresses are handmade in Poland, their simple, elegant designs can be completely customised.  They also stock American designer Kenneth Winston, who combines a modern twist with intricate beading and statement trains.

The main draw, however, is Lisa, who is stylish, approachable and dedicated. She’ll spend time getting you, understanding what you want for your big day, and helping you find it. Assisted by her Mum, Clare, in their comfortable boutique with spacious changing room (and parking outside!), your hunt will be a relaxing one. Partly motivated to start her business by an under-whelming experience searching for her best friend’s wedding dress, customer service is a priority for them.

Dresses to order are priced around £995-£2,995, with some cheaper off-the-peg sale frocks available from £599, as are bridal accessories, bridesmaid and flower girl dresses. Ordered dresses generally take around six months, so it’s recommended you make an appointment around a year before your wedding, although exceptions can be made.
