Fosse Farmhouse, Castle Combe

You’ll be charmed by the playful eccentricity of these cosy holiday cottages, set in the beautiful countryside of the Roman Fosseway in the Cotswolds

9 April 2021Add to My FavouritesSave

This quirky collection of three cottages (and separate B&B) is English eccentric to it’s bones. The decor is playful but never prissy; this is a place for fun and imagination. Set on the ancient Roman Fosseway, nearby Castle Combe is a beauty, and Bath is close enough for an easy day trip.

Dovecot sleeps 2-4 in a charming first floor attic with oak floors. Children will love the fairy-lit ceiling. Garden House is a converted eighteenth century dairy, remodelled in 2004 as a cosy home from home sleeping 6. The Stables is another cottage for 6 with wooden beams and stone floor.

Best of all, groups are welcomed, and booked together the properties can accommodate at least 16; perfect for that get-together where you want to see people, but maybe not all the time…
