At Muddy we’re all about bringing a bit of fun and excitement to you, our lovely readers’ lives. And we’ve found just the place with this boutique incroyable just north of Bristol. We’ve gone all French because, you know, it’s that stylish.

Born out of a passion for beautiful things, founder Lorna started selling gifts and homewares at table top sales, which then progressed to stalls at events, which then led to her treasure trove of a high street shop.

An emporium of gorgeousness, we’re like a rabbit caught in headlights trying to decide what to pounce on first. The furniture is a tempting mix of French and Scandinavian, shabby chic and modern country – we’ve got our eye on a divine grey velvet armchair and hygge-style sheepskin-topped kitchen bar stools. The clothing is equally irresistible with chic star ponchos and jumpers in every colour under the rainbow and some harem pants from Italy that would look the business in the yoga studio. Oh, and there is a to-die-for set of lace lingerie that goes by the fabulous name of Kinky Knickers and manages to pull off that tricky combo of being both comfy and sexy. We want!

It’s all online, but there’s something special about going in person. The staff couldn’t be more welcoming – no look-down-your-nose shop assistants here – and you’re guaranteed to come out feeling happy if a bit weighed down by bags!
