Feel Good Food comes to Tisbury!

Three tiny tables and one quiet garden in the centre of Tisbury, the heart of the Nadder Valley, Provenance is the perfect – the only – place this year for speciality coffees and teas, cold pressed juices and homemade flatbreads topped with seasonal salad, local meat, fish and cheese. Just as we at Muddy like it, it’s all healthy and wholesome, but with just enough cake!

This gorgeous new shop – inspired by the surrounding countryside of the Cranborne Chase AONB and the farmers and artisan producers within it – celebrates seasonal food from field to fork. There are no hidden ingredients, no unnecessary additives, produce is always seasonal, and the team here partners with local farmers, growers and makers who share their passion for nature, sustainable business and doing things just right.

Grab some food to go – we love their flatbreads, sauces and salads, perfect for lunch on the move or a last-minute supper. Looking for something special? Discover an ever changing selection of seasonal surprises, cooked in small batches and using unique flavours inspired by nature and created in their farm kitchen.

And finally, we are suckers for a good story…Owner Sam Rosen-Nash plus her co-founders (and neighbours) James and Anna Hayward planned and opened Provenance in just 8 weeks (8 weeks!!!) when their existing work opportunities disappeared due to the lockdown. With collective experience at Fortnum & Mason, Dorchester Collection, VERVE Wellness Festival and Ennismore, it’s all been put to amazing use – opening a food business during a pandemic!
