Book your table now.
showcases seasonal and sustainable produce, that is fished, farmed or foraged as locally as possible (head chef Paul will often be found on his days off foraging for anything that can feature on the menu. Recently that’s been wild garlic, wood sorrel and sweet woodruff, no less!) We especially love their shared plate, tapas-style food – pick and choose several dishes each and share amongst the table. Oh, and they’re perfect for vegans or gluten free eaters.
A big Muddy tick to their ethos which extends beyond the food – their plates are handmade locally, they’re actively involved in several local eco projects and regularly donate coffees to groups who look after the local environment. They’re also always on the look out for ways to reduce their impact on the planet, by reducing food waste and up-cycling anything that they can.
Top tips from us – blue cheese, purple sprouting broccoli, walnut and pear salad; Devon crab with kohlrabi; and air dried ham with asparagus, poached egg and hollandaise. Yum!
