Splash of Colour
Muddy says: Get creative at this little gem in the heart of Salisbury. Kids’ parties, rainy day sessions, baby’s footprints (too cute)…it’s all here.
We at Muddy are going nuts for this super cool pottery-painting gaff in Fisherton Street. Once you’ve shopped ’til you’ve dropped, fattened yourself up at one of Salisbury’s finest and tried the gin bar at The Market Inn, hot-foot it to Splash of Colour to rest your weary bones and chug flat whites while the Mudlets get creative with pottery and keep out of your hair.
A super relaxing, therapeutic and creative place, it is perfect for all ages, and especially good for little fingers to go crazy with paint on china. All are welcome, artistic or not (luckily for me) and friendly staff are at the ready to make sure your pot/plate/plaque ends up a Picasso rather than a pig’s ear. They do get busy at weekends and school hols so best to book in advance.
They run parties for little kids (and big kids. Their hen nights are very popular but you might need me to help you smuggle in the gin), or it’s the perfect place to capture your tiny one’s hand or foot print to treasure forever. They also host group events for team building or corporate activities. Or I might just leave my lazy arse here on the sofa and let them come to me – they do that, y’know.
During the school holidays Splash of Colour run a programme of workshops with a range of activities from pottery painting projects to mosaics. They might even let you loose on the potter’s wheel if you ask nicely.
