The Chunky Needle

Muddy says: We adore these chunky knitted creations so much we’re putting blankets, throws and cushions in every room in the house – and throwing a scarf around our necks!

Ahh, soft merino wool in rainbow shades knitted into chunky gorgeousness – our Muddy hearts melted when we saw and touched the huggable creations of The Chunky Needle. The brainchild of Courtney, a former geography teacher who started knitting when she was a child growing up in Canada, The Chunky Needle is an emporium of all things knitted. Who knew such style could be bestowed on knitwear? Clearly Courtney did – with her knitting creativity and genius eye for interior design, she’s created blankets, cushions, throws, even knitted wreaths that you’ll want, nay, need to have in your home.

The bright pops of goregeousness (the range of colours is awesome) are just waiting to zhoosh up a sitting room, study, bedroom, even the garden for cool summer nights. Made from pure, unspun merino wool, which is sooo soft and also 100% hypoallergenic, this miracle fibre is breathable and brilliant for temperature regulation warming you up when it’s cold and cooling you down when it’s hot. How good is that? It’s self-cleaning too, which means your chunky round cushions and sofa throws won’t at risk when the toddlers come bouldering in. Added bonus, they’re so soft they act as comforters to said rowdy toddler on the edge of derailment. For who wouldn’t want to cosy up next to them – just looking at them makes you feel less stressed!

You can get them off-the-peg or design your own with all sizes of blankets from cot to super king size, over 40 colour options and a choice of five stitches. We’re off to fill our cart!
