The Fuselage
Muddy says: There’s a lot of love for this super cool and highly original retreat in the heart of Glos

A magical space within a magical landscape. All far from the madding crowd.
Here at Muddy we LOVE a fab place to glamp, somewhere off the beaten track, somewhere real, truly back to nature. The Fuselage has all this, in gallons. For a start, the view is utterly stunning, stretching across to the Severn Estuary and beyond to the Welsh mountains on a clear day. The sunset – directly in front of the site – is beautiful, and although the site is only five minutes from Stroud (with all of this lovely town’s fab independent boutiques and cafes) it feels remote and private.
Best of all is the accommodation itself. Sleeping four, The Fuselage has been designed by a company called Tree Tents, is only the second one like it ever made, and has already won a design award for innovation with the industry! The attention to detail is extraordinary, and all the materials are from the UK and are sustainably sourced. It is incredibly cool – it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with it once you step inside. Oh, and they are Nell Gifford’s next door neighbours so it is the perfect to stay for those who’d rather walk to the circus than drive…
This is quite possibly the coolest glamping spot we’ve come across at Muddy – and I can tell you we’ve seen a few! Good news is that it’s open right through the winter. So, ready to book?
