It’s not often that you find gardens with the local community and sustainability firmly at their heart, but we’ve got some right here in the Cotswolds! Lovely and utterly timeless Miserden not only has spectacular views over a deer park and rolling Cotswold hills, but it has been chosen by garden writer Anna Pavord as one of the world’s most romantic gardens, no less. Designed in the 17th Century, the gardens have stunning flowering beds, yew hedges and an amazing topiary yew walk designed by Edwin Lutyens, as well as fantastic mixed borders of roses, clematis, shrubs and herbaceous plants. Bring the Mudlets to see the ancient mulberry tree, believed to be planted in 1620, and a stone summerhouse built to commemorate the Millennium.

Miserden is a previous winner of the prestigious Historic Houses Garden of the Year, and this year the team are working hard in preparation for spring and summer….which is where we come in.
