Like the mythical creature it’s named after, Unicorn House is a bit magic. Located in a venerable Cotswold stone building in the centre of Cirencester with parking (which is magic in itself!), the coworking space was founded by Catherine Scudamore who, as well as being a formidable mover and shaker, knows a thing or two about interior design.

The space is beautifully eclectic with stunning furniture and artwork (Catherine has a particular penchant for Her Maj). There are various gorgeous spaces to park yourself from the Parlour with its yellow sofa which is making a bit of a name for itself on Instagram to the Mad Men-style boardroom, The Fireplace Room (pictured above), which lends itself perfectly to a business powwow.

There’s something special in the air at Unicorn House that makes you feel like you could be a Sheryl Sandberg. The whole environment quite literally lifts your spirits, sharpens your focus and boosts your productivity. Goodbye to slobbing in your pyjamas at home! And it couldn’t be more flexible when it comes to membership – you can be a resident, a weekly guest or a pay-as-you-go visitor. And all at prices that won’t make you clench your buttocks.

With membership comes lots of perks, including priority booking for its workshops and events ­– from Facebook advertising masterclasses to art happenings and yoga meets (there’s an onsite yoga and meditation studio).
