Viney Holiday Properties, Blakeney

These two gorgeous period houses, renovated, buffed and shined to perfection, offer acre of lawns, a view to die for over the stunning Gloucestershire countryside and winter walks a-plenty through the Royal Forest of Dean. Cosy log fires, a covered pool to relax in after that 10k hike and even a BBQ hut with a BBQ inside it, perfect for year-round use. And if that’s not enough the famous Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, Go Ape and Clearwell Caves will keep the kids busy all winter long.

Both properties have heated enclosed pools (available 12 months of the year), with each property a different size and a different personality. We particularly love the personal touches the owners have provided to make you feel really at home.

Whitehaven is a stunner of a 6 bedroomed property, recently renovated, extended and awarded 5* status by enjoyEngland.com. You’ve got the whole she-bang here – pool, an acre of luscious lawns, Bosewave music system, SKY TV, pool table, table football…need I go on?

Viney Hill Country House is a whopper of a house – originally a working farm house, sprawled across three floors and sleeping 15 adults (plus 2 children) across 8 bedrooms, 7 of which are en-suite plus one large family bathroom. The bedrooms have been restyled to a high standard, the living room is HUGE and looks out across the pool and garden and children’s play area, and onto stunning Gloucestershire countryside and the Royal Forest of Dean.

Right, you Muddy lot. Ready to book?
