TALK: Learning More About Women in Politics, Mackenzies, Swindon, 17 Feb
Young Female Professional was set up to bring together like-minded women in Swindon, with monthly talks on everything from career guidance to self-care. Feb’s session is all about women in politics and questioning when men often seem to have all the power. The talk is free to attend and starts at 7pm.

FLOWER SKILLS: Wedding Flowers Workshop with Pod and Pip, Salisbury, 19 Feb
Everyone knows flowers are one of the most expensive parts of a wedding, so why not try your hand at creating your own? Salisbury florist Pod and Pip’s workshop is here to help you along the way, with a day-long session that will teach you how to make your own hand-tied bouquet for the big day, as well as buttonholes and table decorations. They’ll also give hints and tips on how to condition and prepare your flowers, as well as practical advice on how, when and where to buy your flowers for the wedding day.
Flowers and materials are all included along with tea, coffee and cake.
These sessions are very popular, so if you don’t get a slot in this one, there’s another one scheduled for April.
