This January (the month of wedding planning, y&#8217;know) we at Muddy were lucky enough to be invited to look around the gorgeous <a href="http://www.grittletonhouse.co.uk">Grittleton House</a> near Chippenham, with its gothic features, decorative ceilings, balconies to die for and elegance worthy of any palace. And it&#8217;s got a massive thumbs up from us!
Truly a venue fit for a princess, Grittleton House is the perfect heavenly wedding setting. This beautiful family-owned Victorian mansion with its impressive double gates and tree lined drive, oozes style and charm both inside and out. As you enter, you will be mesmerised by the magnificent architectural features, fabulous ornate and high ceilings, original working fireplaces and the most stunning double staircase. Outside there are 37 acres of parkland and formal gardens, most notable are the handsome Italian sunken gardens. Add in the beautiful orangery and the new and very elegant master bedrooms, and you will not be disappointed.
