What do you get if you cross a Chemical Engineering degree, inquisitive nature and a love of chocolate? Hollychocs, that’s what – your one stop shop for all things smooth, sweet and chocolatey. Holly Garner is the woman behind the name (and the chocolate), and after a stint at Cadbury where she solved all sorts of chocolatey production problems including putting the bubbles in Wispa Bars, she decided to go it alone and open up her own chocolate shop (for which we and our sweettooths are eternally grateful).
More than a chocolatier, Holly is a chocolate engineer and the proof is in the chocolate. She works hard to create innovative texture and flavour combinations (Strawberry and Black Olive anyone?) so any bite, box or scoop of a Hollychocs chocolate is like nothing you’ve ever tasted before which makes them great gifts for you or a loved one.
Not only can you view the complete collection of Holly’s chocs in her chocolate shop, you can sample some of the goods in the brand new Beanery Cafè too, a recent add-on to the shop, where there’s a selection of sweet treats, soft serve ice cream and 12 different hot chocolates on the menu as well as all sorts of other deliciousness.
Aside from buying and eating chocolate, you can even have a crack at making it yourself, thanks to the chocolate-making masterclasses Holly and the team hold in the workshop. These also make a great gift or a fun day out for your family or fellow chocaholic friends.
