We asked and you delivered. In supersize style. This year’s Muddy Awards reached over 10 million people over eight weeks, with over 515,000 votes and nominations cast nationwide. So, there’s zero doubt about it – winning a coveted Muddy Award is certainly something to shout out from the rooftops. These are the very BEST indie businesses in Wiltshire, as voted by YOU.

To celebrate, we gathered all our Wiltshire winners together at Hamptworth Golf and Country Club. The restaurant and bar here are top notch – expect Insta-worthy interiors, great food and exceedingly impressive golf facilities.

2024 hasn’t had the finest weather, but the sun gods were certainly on our side on 11 June. The morning rays poured in as we sipped coffee and polished off pastries, and we even spilled out onto the gorgeous terrace for a windswept photo or two. The team at Hamptworth were certainly the hosts with the most – they pulled out all the stops, treating us to a delicious breakfast. And a huge thank you to Adele and Gemma from Fig & Bramble too, for their gorgeous floral displays.

Throughout the morning, the Muddy team (Commercial Manager Olivia, Muddy HQ Deputy Editor Rachel and Wiltshire Editor Sophie) got stuck into some serious mingling, and it was an absolute treat to chat to all our fabulous winners. These people really put their hearts and souls into their businesses, and we were blown away by their passion, dedication and sheer delight at being part of the awards.

Of course, we had our own in-house paparazzi on hand, in the shape of photographer extraordinaire Zara Rowlands. Throughout the awards she showed off her skills as she snapped all of our best moments from the morning.

No awards do’ is complete without a glam goodie bag, and our guests took home gorgeous soy wax scented candles from Bert & Rose, and botanical soap bars from Chalke Valley Soaps. A massive shout-out too to Black Nova Designs, who sponsored our Wiltshire awards and of course Tide, our national sponsors.

Of course, we also owe a big thank you to YOU, dear reader, who really got behind the awards this year and helped shine a light onto our much-loved local businesses. We really wouldn’t be able to do this without you.
