<p>Chef Jake Simpson was formerly head chef at Soho’s Bocca di Lupo, and now he’s cooking up a storm at The Rectory Hotel. The five-course monthly supper clubs are a hot ticket, so pop 14th November in your diaries now (£60pp). To tempt your tastebuds, the menu includes veal shin ravioli with saffron gremolata, and apple tarte tatin with cinnamon ice cream. I&#8217;m in! </p>

<p>Fish lovers would do well to head to <a href="https://www.dukehotelhilmarton.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Duke Hotel</a> in Hilmarton on Thursday nights. Owners Brandon and Matteo are now throwing fish-focused feasts, with produce fresh from Brixham. Our fave has to be the ‘posh fish and chips’ sharing board, with tempura battered haddock, garlic butter scallops and skinny fries.</p>

<p>The clever peeps over at Glove Factory Studios are giving supper clubs a new twist this season. Alongside their legendary seasonal feasts, they’ll be combining lighter meals with inspirational talks. On 11 October you can tuck into drinks and nibbles while you listen to specialist tulip grower Polly Nicholson, who will be sharing her passion for these mighty flowers. Afterwards, wander over to the Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen, for a two-course supper. <p>Lacock&#8217;s <a href="https://www.signoftheangel.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sign of The Angel </a>is getting into the swing of things with a series of  supper clubs, held on the third Thursday of every month (£45pp). This month sees a five-course homage to Game &#8211; think smoked duck and wild boar charcuterie, and carpaccio of Wiltshire roe deer. Yum! </p>

<p>Vaughan’s pop-up suppers are legendary, so make a note in your diary for 19th October, plus 16th and 30th November. While November&#8217;s menus are still a closely guarded secret, October sees a celebration of all things Spanish &#8211; think croquetas of Manchego cheese with saffron aioli, and Chorizo asado glazed in Rioja &amp; Owl Lodge honey. <p>Fish fan in the clan? Head over to Marlborough on 6th November. Jack and Charlie Stein will be spearheading a five-course meal, along with wine pairings. Expect communal seating and a cracking feast – after all, there is little this duo don’t know about fine food. The menu sounds pretty fabulous, with the likes of chilli garlic clams, sea bass with beurre blanc and rack of Cornish lamb. The wine doesn’t sound too shabby either, with Vinho Verde, Burgundy and Sauternes all having a star turn. <p>When it comes to sustainability credentials, PKG is pretty up there. The menu is deeply rooted in their gorgeous walled garden, and the seasonal supper parties are always a huge hit. Think long tables, botanical cocktails, live music and an al fresco three-course feast, largely cooked over open fire. Oh, and a steady flow of wine for the non-drivers out there! The next party is on 21<sup>st</sup> December, when they&#8217;ll be celebrating the Winter Solstice. <p>With a six-course tasting menu, optional wine flight, live music and stunning surroundings, Iford’s supper club makes a pretty good start to the weekend. Tons of ingredients hail from either the Iford Estate itself, or the local area. Savoury pear Bakewell with Bath Blue cheese and plum chutney sounds pretty good to us, as does skewered scallop glazed with garlic. It’s worth knowing that this one is an early start – the night kicks off at 6:45pm and finishes shortly after 10pm. If you’re the nominated driver, there’s a ‘low and no’ drinks menu too. From £70pp, upcoming dates include 15 November and 29 November.</p>
