You’ll find over 120 stalls selling gorgeous gifts and wellness products, plus a fab line-up of speakers including Millie Mackintosh, nutrition powerhouse Lucinda Miller and menopause expert Dr Louise Newson. If you’re in need of an Autumn reset, shimmy over to Hatch House on 13th and 14th September for the Verve Festival. Murder most horrid more your bag? Head to Arundells in Salisbury on 13th September, for a bold and innovative production of Macbeth. Shakespeare’s dark tale of ambition, murder and madness is performed by a cast of six actors, and directed by Robert Shaw Cameron&nbsp;(Coronation Street, Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Sheffield Crucible). <a href="https://bowood.org/event/macbeth-by-shakespeare-presented-by-the-dukes-theatre-company/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tickets</a> from £18.50.&nbsp;



It&#8217;s a busy month in Wilts for Illyria theatre group. These talented peeps are set to perform Gilbert &amp; Sullivan’s comic opera HMS Pinafore at Heywood House in Westbury on 6th September. Expect young lovers, a roving eye, witty dialogue and catchy tunes. This is an outdoor production, so wrap up warm. Calling all bookworms! Marlborough’s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.marlboroughlitfest.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/LitFest_Brochure_2025.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LitFest</a> is coming to town (25-28 September) and there’s a stellar line-up of authors. Think Rupert Everett, Mary Portas, Jessie Burton and Alan Hollinghurst for starters&#8230;



September is a stella month for comedy in Swindon, with Jack Dee (10th), Josh Widdicombe (25th), Ardal O’Hanlon (27th) at the Wyvern and and Stephen Bailey (27th) at The Arts Centre. Heads up, you can also catch Joel Dommet on 1st October. Hotfoot it to Marlborough and you might just catch Giffords Circus before it heads to Cirencester. This year’s show, Laguna Bay, includes aerial artistes, acrobats and a fine array of daredevil acts. Fancy watching some aerial acrobatics? Zoom over to Longleat’s <a href="https://www.longleat.co.uk/icons-of-the-sky" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Icons of the Sky</a> event (12-14th September), which looks pretty fab this year. Expect the traditional hot air balloon extravaganza (a hard recommend from us), along with a Supermarine Spitfire. The Royal Air Force are bringing the RAF Falcons mass parachute team too, plus there’s a nightglow and firework finale.



Ready for some serious garden inspo? <a href="https://www.hatch-house.co.uk/hatch-house-open-garden8b4ddcd7" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hatch House</a> throws open its gates on 6th September, in aid of Salisbury Hospice. Expect swoon-worthy gardens, tents brimming with pre-loved chic and a BBQ courtesy of Compton McRae.



Prepare to shake your tail feathers at Pewsey’s flamboyant carnival procession on 20th September. This is the oldest illuminated procession in Britain, plus you’ll find tons of events in the run-up too, including a duck race and colour run on 6th. Heads up, beer fans! Pop up to the Three Daggers in Edington on 27th September, for the pub’s first Taproom event. There’s a chance to check out the brewery, chat to head brewer Ricky and try beers as they’re made (and have a pint or two from the vintage beer bus too). Outside, chefs will be dishing up food from the green eggs, plus there’s live music too. For a foraging and feasting extravaganza, pop to the Ramsbury Estate on 13th or 27th September. Things kick off at The Bell with coffee and pastries, before Mark (AKA @wildpicker) gives a three-hour guided foraging sesh on the estate. You then head back to the pub for a multi course tasting lunch, courtesy of head chef James. Foodie alert! Salisbury Food and Drink Festival runs 19th-21st September, and it promises to be packed with live music, kids’ entertainment and, errr, plenty of scoff. There are tons of events planned, from a street food market (20th) to artisan cheese tasting, tours of Wadworth Brewery and even a murder mystery dinner.



Hello, hot stuff. Westbury turns up the heat on 20th September with Wiltshire <a href="https://wiltshirechillifest.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chilli Festival</a>. Think artisan chilli traders from across the UK, Mexican tacos and music from samba and mariachi bands. Oh, and and the infamous chilli-eating contest. If you touch the milk, you’re out&#8230;
