<p>One for gin lovers. Head to Still Sisters distillery in Trowbridge for a tea and tasting experience. You’ll get to try their signature gins and learn how they’re made, before settling into a full afternoon tea. With a G&amp;T in hand, of course! £45pp.</p>

<p>For Instagrammable décor and epic food, The Old Bell has you covered. The afternoon teas (£30) are delicious, with the likes of raspberry and vanilla choux buns, Wiltshire ham sarnies and strawberry and elderflower Battenburg. Do the kids have a penchant for posh nosh? The Little Angels tea (£15) includes almond chocolate financiers, custard clotted cream tart and scones with Nutella.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-bridge-tea-rooms-bradford-on-avon"><a href="https://www.honeystreetmill.co.uk/copy-of-postbox-brownies" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Bridge Tea Rooms</a>, Bradford-on-Avon</h2>



<p>With its pristine tablecloths and ancient stone exterior, this former blacksmith’s cottage makes for a magical tearoom. The staff even wear Victorian-style pinnies, and there are whispers that it could be haunted. There’s a whole range of afternoon teas, including a savoury version (£19.95) with a toasted cheese and herb scone, celery, apple and cheeses. Or go the full Monty and opt for the quaffable champagne version (£42.50), with includes tartlets, meringue and freshly baked cakes. </p>

<p>Pinkies poised! Bowood’s afternoon teas are mighty fine, with precision cut sandwiches and local ingredients, like the estate’s own jam. There’s a fab vegan option too, with some deliciously inventive sandwiches (crustless, of course). From £35.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-honeystreet-mill-cafe-honey-street-pewsey"><a href="https://www.honeystreetmill.co.uk/copy-of-postbox-brownies" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honeystreet Mill Café,</a> Honey Street, Pewsey</h2>



<p>Tucked away in the banks of the Kennet and Avon canal, this café near Alton Barnes is a summer haven. The afternoon tea for two (£39) comes with lavish sweet treats, including scones heaped with clotted cream, sandwiches and cakes. These are specially prepared to order, so get in quick because you need to book at least three days in advance. Missed the deadline? Try their other bakes instead, which include billionaire, Biscoff and Mars brownies. Yum! &nbsp;</p>

<p>With its sweeping driveway and pristine grounds, venturing into Lucknam Park feels like walking into your own romantic novel. The impeccable teas (£48) are dished up on tiered stands – think freshly prepped patisserie, classic smoked salmon sandwiches and scones with home-made jams. The gluten free version is great too, which is no mean feat when you’re talking pastry and scones.</p>

<p>With its honey-hued stone walls, shelves lined with local farm produce and big, blousy cakes, The Duchess Lounge oozes homely vibes. Sweet treats are taken seriously here, as is the carefully curated selection of savoury food and freshly cut flowers. At £19 pp the afternoon tea is great value. Expect sandwiches, mini patisserie and scones loaded with clotted cream. <p>If you love a cuppa, this is the place for you. You’ll find over 80 sustainably-sourced leaf teas, including black teas, green teas and even Ayurvedic blends. The food is tip-top – think lashings sandwiches, cakes, macarons and warm scones, on a 3-tiered vintage stand (£35 for two). Kids go half price, and dogs are even welcome too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For a quintessentially British afternoon, hot-foot it over to Whatley Manor’s sun-drenched terrace. High tea (£39.50) is every bit as outstanding as you’d expect, with treats such as smoked salmon finger sandwiches, caramel cinnamon doughnuts and blueberry Eaton mess. Sounds like a day for stretchy waistband&#8230;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-beatons-tisbury"><a href="https://www.beatonstearooms.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beatons</a>, Tisbury</h2>



<p>Tisbury’s high street stalwart is a long-time favourite, and deservedly so. You’ll find scrumptious scones, fresh bakes (the signature carrot cake is excellent), or go the whole hog and tuck into the full afternoon tea (£25). Think a three-tiered stand, stocked up with delicate sandwiches, savouries, a generous slab of cake and scones. There’s also a vast range of loose teas to quench your thirst.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-widbrook-grange-bradford-on-avon"><a href="http://v" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Widbrook Grange</a>, Bradford on Avon </h2>



<p>How about a gimlet with your scones? Yes, you heard us! This month Widbrook Grange Hotel is dishing up a cocktail alongside cakes, sandwiches and scones with cream and jam (<a href="https://www.widbrookgrange.co.uk/dining/afternoon-tea" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">£28pp</a>). There&#8217;s also the option to upgrade to a G&amp;T tea, straight from their specialist gin bar. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-hollychocs-poulshot"><a href="https://www.hollychocs.com/products/summer-afternoon-tea-29-june" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hollychocs</a>, Poulshot</h2>



<p>A chocolate themed afternoon tea, you say? Hollychocs in Poulshot is best known for its award-winning chocs, but Holly is now turning her hand to afternoon teas. The next one is a festive affair on 14th December, but they sell out like hot cakes (excuse the pun) so do book now if you fancy it. Expect smoked salmon sandwiches, scones topped with salted caramel and mini versions of their prize-winning Champion Triple Chocolate Brookies. £39.95pp.</p>
